What experience do I need to become a franchise owner with The Sports Bra?
A passion for women’s sports is a must for our franchise owners. We also look for a let’s-do-this attitude and an alignment with our mission to support, empower and promote women and girls in sports. A connection with the local community can make a difference in this business.
While we are prepared to offer training, support, and ongoing coaching to help you grow your sports bar business, we will only consider candidates with previous restaurant ownership or management experience.
What is provided as part of The Sports Bra franchise program?
Our Home Court training program begins as soon as you invest in a franchise with The Sports Bra. Initial training for you and your general manager lasts for up to two weeks, to get you ready to hit the ground running. We also provide on-site assistance before, during and after your launch, for a total of 10 days.
How much will a franchise with The Sports Bra cost me?
The estimated initial investment for a single unit ranges from $292,500 to $893,500. This includes a $55,000 initial franchise fee for a single territory agreement. Ask about our discounts for veterans and additional units. As with any new venture, it’s important to have adequate capital to fund the initial business growth stages.
Is financing available?
We do not provide direct financing to franchise owners, but we may refer to financing sources on a case-by-case basis.
Are there ongoing fees to pay?
Franchise owners pay a 5% ongoing royalty fee based on gross revenues. These fees allow us to fund our ongoing support services, training programs and more. For a full list of fees and requirements, please refer to our Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD).
Are there any advertising fees?
Franchise owners contribute 2% of gross revenues into the brand marketing fund. We use collected funds to develop marketing strategies, materials and campaigns to promote The Sports Bra brand. Franchise owners also spend a minimum of $500 per month on local marketing. Franchise owners must spend a minimum of $5,000 on grand opening marketing and promotions within the first 90 days of opening their food service franchise. What is the term of the agreement?
The initial term of your agreement is ten years, with two subsequent successor agreement options of five years each.
